A pair of Japanese Imari porcelain bottle vases, Meiji period, of decagonal mallet form, each painted and gilt with ho-o birds, vapours and flowers beneath a segmented vertical panelled neck filled with flowers, lotus and scrolling tendrils and simulated brocade, unmarked, heights 25.5cm.
