A Chinese silk embroidered civil rank badge, fifth rank, early 20th century, worked in coloured and gilt threads with a silver pheasant perched on a rock above crashing waves, within a surround of shou medallions, fruit and eternal knot motifs, 24cm x 24cm, framed and glazed, together with another civil-style rank badge, first rank, 20th century, worked in predominantly silver thread with a crane flying above a rock and crashing waves on a black ground, 26.5cm x 28.5cm, framed and glazed.
