A Chinese silk embroidered child's festival hat, early 20th century, designed with a tiled roof above opposing panels worked in coloured threads with bird, insect and flowers on a black ground, the sides hung with metal bells and tassels, width 20cm. Provenance: the property of a West Sussex lady collector.
