A Burmese carved teak ceremonial gong stand, late 19th/early 20th century, the surmount carved and pierced with traditional mythological figures standing aboard the royal barge, flanked by a pair of kinnara finials, the rectangular frame carved and pierced with a surround of flowers, dragons and foliate scrolls above a similarly carved base with carved and pierced dragon brackets, hung with a bronze circular gong, height 172cm, width 76cm (minor faults).
