An 18th century Dutch miniature toy silver flat iron and stand, the iron with overhead handle and hinged cover with fastening clip, the stand with three-bar supports, Amsterdam mark to base, total weight 43.9g, length 4.1cm. Provenance: the private collection of the late Guy and Sylvia Watkins, purchased from Sotheby's Amsterdam, 4th November 2002, Lot 42.
