An early 18th century Dutch miniature toy silver strainer of shallow circular form, pierced with a six-pointed star design, flanked by a pair of wire handles, on three ball feet, Amsterdam circa 1706-27 by Frederik van Strant I, weight 19.5g, diameter 5.8g, width across handles 8.5cm. Provenance: the private collection of the late Guy and Sylvia Watkins.
