A rare mid-18th century Dutch miniature toy silver spoon rack with six matching trefoil spoons, the backplate decorated with scallop shell surmount above rococo scrolls, the shelf with six apertures, fitted with the six spoons, Amsterdam 1747 by Jan Diederik Pont, each piece marked with Amsterdam town mark, date letter and maker's mark, total weight 41.1g, length of backplate 10.1cm. Provenance: the private collection of the late Guy and Sylvia Watkins.
