An early 19th century gold mounted oval pendant, as converted from a clasp, the centre glazed with a painted and hairwork scene on ivory depicting two exotic birds at a fountain within a surround of seed pearls, unmarked, weight 13.2g, length 4.6cm. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this lot.
