An 18th century Dutch miniature toy silver floor spittoon of globular form with wide flared rim and cast scroll handle, Amsterdam 1737 by Frederik van Strant II, weight 14.9g, height 2.7cm, together with a pair of 18th century Dutch miniature toy silver table spittoons of globular form with shaped outswept rims, indistinct marks, total weight 16.3g, height 2cm. Provenance: the private collection of the late Guy and Sylvia Watkins, the floor spittoon purchased from Sotheby's Amsterdam, 12th December 2001, Lot 248.
