A late 17th century Dutch miniature toy silver inkstand, the rectangular stand engraved with foliate scrolls, fitted with a fixed candle holder and a detachable cylindrical inkwell and cover and a pounce pot, raised on turned feet, Amsterdam 1655-1682 by Michiel Maenbeeck, weight 82.4g, length 7.2cm. Provenance: the private collection of the late Guy and Sylvia Watkins.
