A set of George III educational cards, within their original case, detailed 'The Elements of Astronomy and Geography Explained on 40 Cards beautifully Engraved and Coloured by the Abbe Paris, Published July 15th 1795 by John Wallis, No. 16 Ludgate Street London', the thirty-nine cards (one card missing) depicting various astronomical and geographical diagrams, plans and instruments, each card 9.2cm x 6.2cm. Provenance: from the private collection of the West Sussex art dealer, collector and specialist in 20th century British Art, the late Ian McVitie Weston.
