A Chinese silk embroidered child's apron (dudou), early 20th century, worked in coloured threads with an appliqué Buddhistic lion cub on a purple ground, below black panels decorated with flowers and characters, width 40.5cm, within a glazed display frame, together with a Chinese silk embroidered child's jacket, decorated with flowers on a lilac ground, length 33.5cm, within a glazed display frame. Provenance: the property of a West Sussex lady collector.
