A Japanese dark brown patinated bronze figure group of a crab and its young, Meiji period, each modelled with claws raised, length 13.5cm.

A Japanese iron samurai helmet surmount (maedate) in the form of a dragonfly, Meiji period, the wings with detailed decoration, length 25.5cm. Note: the dragonfly was a favourite emblem of the samurai and was known as kachi-mushi (victorious insect). It was respected for its hunting technique, whereby it would fly directly towards its prey, never wavering from its path.

A group of four Chinese blue and white porcelain bowls, Ming/Qing dynasty, comprising one painted with cranes and fruit cluster, diameter 15.2cm, another with two dragons, flaming pearls and vapours, diameter 14.6cm, and two with fruiting vines, diameters 14.6cm and 13cm, together with a small Chinese blue and white circular dish, diameter 10cm (minor faults).

A Chinese blue and white porcelain plate, late Qianlong period, painted with four buffalo between trees and rocks, diameter 22.8cm, together with a Japanese Arita blue and white porcelain plate, Edo period, painted with a Dutchman and attendant boy, diameter 21cm.

A Chinese five colour overlay glass snuff bottle, probably late Qing dynasty, the ovoid body carved with green bat and pagoda, a pair of amber cranes and a red Buddhistic lion above blue waves on an opalescent ground, height 4.6cm, with green glass stopper.

A Chinese bronze tripod censer, mark of Xuande but Qing dynasty, the circular bombé body with upright loop handles, raised on three short feet, cast six character mark to base, height 18.5cm, diameter 26.5cm (repaired).

A Chinese dark brown patinated bronze tripod censer, mark of Xuande but Qing dynasty, of circular drum form, on three short cabriole feet, cast six character mark incorporating two dragons to base, height 16cm, diameter 41.5cm (crack to rim).

A Japanese blue and white porcelain jar, 20th century, the 'U' shaped body painted with a continuous band of frogs, painted two character mark to side and impressed mark to base, height 17cm.

A Chinese white glazed figure of Guandi, late Qing dynasty, modelled seated wearing a long robe, height 20cm (minor glaze scuffs to headdress).

A pair of Chinese coconut go counter boxes and covers, Qing dynasty, each with turned decoration, on a circular foot, height 10cm.

A Chinese lingzhi fungus, width 15.5cm.

A Chinese hardwood centre table, late Qing dynasty, the rectangular panelled top above a carved and pierced openwork frieze and archaistic scroll apron, raised on a pair of openwork supports with framed panels united by carved and pierced scroll motifs, terminating in scroll feet, length 132cm, depth 43.5cm, height 78cm (missing section of apron to one side and one scroll foot).

A pair of Chinese famille verte porcelain vases, late Qing dynasty, each ovoid body painted with a formal design of peonies and scrolling tendrils, height 29.5cm.

A pair of Chinese cloisonné table lamp bases, 20th century of flattened double gourd form, each side decorated with yellow ground floral panels, reserved against a turquoise ground filled with polychrome lotus and tendrils, height 33cm.

A Chinese Jun type peach form brush washer, possibly Song dynasty, the shallow bowl with broadly crackled blue glaze and purple splash to interior, length 15.1cm, bearing paper label detailed 'S. Marchant & Son London W.S.', to base (chip to lip of spout).

A Chinese Guanyao type hexagonal baluster vase, possibly Song dynasty, covered in a matt greyish blue glaze with fine crackle, height 18cm, together with a similar vase of rectangular baluster form, moulded with lion mask and ring handles, height 15.7cm.

A Chinese Dingyao porcelain shallow circular dish, the greyish cream glaze incised with a pair of ducks, beneath an unglazed rim, diameter 24.2cm.
