A Tibetan copper teapot and domed cover, 19th century, the baluster body with partially gilded decoration, applied with a pair of dragon plaques within pierced borders, flanked by a dragon handle and spout, height 32cm, bearing Beasley Collection paper label to base, inscribed 'Tibet 507 3-6-36'. Provenance: from the estate of a West Sussex collector. Note: this teapot is illustrated in Alain Presencer's 'Tibetan Buddhist Art', item 12, page 79.
