A small group of seven Chinese hardwood stands, late 19th century and later, diameters ranging from 5cm to 21cm, together with a carved and pierced hardwood cover, diameter 11.5cm, and a mother-of-pearl inlaid rectangular wood tray, length 45.2cm (faults). Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
