Two Chinese blue and white porcelain jars and covers, marks of Kangxi but late 19th century, each of baluster form, one painted with dragons and peony, the other with figures, height 16.5cm (one cover chipped, the other cover repaired), together with a small group of export porcelain, 18th century, including a blue and white teabowl and saucer, Kangxi period, painted with figures and flowers (faults). Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
