A Japanese Arita blue and white porcelain circular bowl, 19th century, of compressed circular form with overhead bucket style handle, painted with root vegetable and flowers, height 17cm, with hardwood stand, together with two Japanese porcelain dishes and a wall pocket. Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
