Coins, Banknotes and Medallions

A large collection of Westminster Mint and other collectors' coins, including a USA Fifty States Quarter Collection fifty-coin set, cased with certificate, a Westminster Mint US Presidential Dollar Collection sixteen-coin set, cased with certificate, and two Elizabeth II Royal Mint silver proof Elizabeth and Philip crowns 1972 celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary, cased (some environmental damage).

A large collection of British and world banknotes, including an Elizabeth II Bank of England twenty pounds note, Chief Cashier Graham Kentfield, serial number CJ24 413209, an Elizabeth II Bank of England brown ten pounds note, Chief Cashier Sir Jasper Hollom, serial number A14 543862, and an Ireland one punt note, Chief Cashiers C.H. Murray and T.F. O'Cofaigh, detailed with portrait of Queen Medb.

A large collection of Bank of England banknotes, including one pound notes and ten shillings notes (generally circulated/soiled).

A small group of British and world banknotes, including a Central Bank of China five yuan note 1936, a Bank of England Britannia brown ten shillings note, Chief Cashier L.K. O'Brien, serial number Y24Y 190527, and a Central Bank of Kenya five shillings note, dated 1st July 1978.

A consecutive run of one hundred Elizabeth II Bank of England one pound notes, Chief Cashier J.B. Page, serial numbers 72N 267801 to 72N 267900 (generally uncirculated but corner bumps and some light soiling), together with a small group of earlier style Elizabeth II one pound notes, Chief Cashier J.B. Page (handled, light soiling).

An Anne silver coronation medal 1702 by John Croker, obverse with draped bust left, reverse with Anne as Pallas standing, hurling a thunderbolt at a two-headed monster, diameter 35mm, Eimer 390, with an old ticket.

A Roman Empire Julia Domna denarius 208-211 AD, reverse with Vesta standing right, with an old ticket, originally purchased from B.A. Seaby, together with a Roman Empire Septimius Severus denarius 193-211 AD, reverse with Hercules standing right.

An Edward VII shilling 1902 (extremely fine/uncirculated, lovely cabinet tone with an uneven patch to face), with an old ticket describing it as 'FDC Matt Proof', originally purchased from B.A. Seaby.

A Roman Empire Licinius I follis 308-324 AD, Thessalonica Mint, reverse with Jupiter standing left, holding Victory on a globe with his right hand and sceptre with his left, eagle to left on ground (extremely fine), together with a Roman Empire Constantine I AE, reverse with Sol standing left, London Mint (extremely fine).

A small collection of silver proof coins and medals, including three Sierra Leone one leone coins celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Bank of Sierra Leone 1964-194, cased with certificates, and a Spink & Son medallion commemorating the 350th Anniversary of the Sailing of the 'Mayflower' 1620-1970, cased with certificates.

A Victoria Jubilee Head crown 1890, three Victoria one-and-a-half pence 1843, a silver medallion commemorating 100 years of Christian education, a silver rectangular one-ounce ingot and six further coins.
