A scarce Irish Free State Currency Commission Lady Lavery oval vignette die proof engraver's colour trial test strike, detailed with half-length portrait with right arm resting on harp and left hand on strings, printed in black on oversized card/paper. Note: many of the Lady Lavery test strikes to appear on the market do not seem to show her left hand. This vignette was used on the larger denomination Irish banknotes: twenty pounds, fifty pounds and one hundred pounds.

A very rare, possibly unique Ukraine Republic engraver's test strike for the obverse of a one hundred hryven banknote, detailed with portrait of Tara Shevchenko and values to top corners, the lower portion with trailing foliate border, dated in lower right margin '30.10.96', printed in black on oversized paper. Note: the trailing foliate border was not used in the finished design for notes issued into circulation.
