Phyliss Dawson - a group of four finely engraved woodcut printing blocks, one depicting three actor's masks, 9.5cm x 7.3cm, one with a desktop of objects with Canterbury Cathedral in the background, 10.2cm x 7.5cm. Note: Phyliss Dawson (1903-1993) was an illustrator and wood engraver. Born in London, she went on to study at Clapham School of Art with William Washington, then at Canterbury School of Art under John Austen.
