A 20th century Italian specimen marble centre table, the circular top inlaid with a selection of hardstones with a central six-pointed star surrounded by six oval grotesque masks, the wide outer border with portraits of notable Italian worthies within cartouche surrounds, raised on a turned pedestal and triform base, height 75.5cm, diameter 99cm (chips and faults to the top of the base).

An impressive mid-20th century Continental veined marble and gilt composition centre table, the top inlaid with birds and scrolls on a black ground, raised on herm supports holding flower and mask swags, the scrolling 'X' stretcher with cherub mounts, height 87cm, length 143cm, width 77cm.
