An early 20th century Latvian .875 silver circular basket with swing handle, the front applied with a foliate scroll cartouche framing an engraved monogram, weight 107.3g, total height 11.5cm, and a silver circular bonbon dish with pierced and embossed sides, Birmingham 1899, weight 17.5g, diameter 9.5cm (minor faults).

A late Victorian silver cased carriage timepiece, the French eight day movement with platform escapement, the white enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals, the rectangular case embossed with fruit and flowers, fitted with a swing handle, on ball feet, London 1895, height including handle 9.5cm, with original green velvet covered case.

A Modernist silver water jug and two matching beakers, each of cylindrical form with half-spiral-fluted decoration, London 2004 and 2005 by Ian Calvert, height of jug 20.2cm, height of beakers 10.2cm, total weight 1411.8g. Note: Ian Calvert was born in 1938. He began his craft education at 13 and attended evening classes at The Gravesend School of Art. In 1954, whilst still at The Gravesend School of Art, the silversmith R.E. Stone offered him a four-year apprenticeship. In 1957 he represented Great Britain in The International Apprenticeship Competition in Madrid and won first prize. After National Service Ian worked for Wakely & Wheeler before setting up The Silver Workshop in 1964, along with former Gravesend students Tony Law and Ron Stevens, and later joined by Keith Redfern. Ian left The Silver Work Shop Ltd in 1972 to establish his own business. In 2003 he moved to a larger premises with his son Justin.

A Modernist silver sauceboat and ladle, modelled as a large serving spoon, the handle curving beneath to form the stand, London 2014 and 2015 by Brett Payne, length 19.5cm, total weight 775.5g. Note: Brett Payne undertook a foundation course at Canterbury College of Art in 1977, before achieving a BA Hons in Silversmithing and Jewellery at Sheffield Hallam University in 1981. He has exhibited internationally, including the USA and Japan, and his commissioned work includes Mappin & Webb, 10 Downing Street and Sheffield City Council.

A Modernist silver and green glass bowl, the silver sinuous openwork stand with scrolling leaf supports, inset with a green glass oval liner bowl, London 2015 by Jenny Edge, length 24.8cm, weight excluding glass 168.1g. Note: Jenny Edge is a British designer and silversmith, born in 1953, who studied at The Sir John Cass School of Art and trained in anticlastic raising with Silversmiths Heikki Seppa and Michael Good in the USA.

A Szandrik electroplated tea glass holder, in the style of Josef Hoffmann, the cylindrical body and curved handle with pierced openwork square grid decoration, maker's mark and number '8967', height 6cm (lacking glass liner).

A near pair of mid-18th century silver circular salts, each cast in relief with flower festoons, on lion mask shouldered paw feet, London 1740 by Edward Wood & London 1764, total weight 289.9g, height 4.4cm.

A 19th century silver and bloodstone snuff box of rectangular form with rounded corners, the hinged lid inset with a bloodstone panel applied with a pink foil-backed citrine to the centre and colourless pastes to the corners, triple struck 'RH' maker's mark to gilt interior, weight 111.5g, length 6.8cm.
