Kalisz: Typis Collegii Calissiensis Soc Jesu, 1681. Folio (290 x 187mm.) Engraved frontispiece, text in Polish. (Heavy soiling and spotting, many leaves torn with loss and reinforced, lacking all leaves after Yyy1, some worm damage, occasionally affecting text, old dampstaining, frontispiece with sections replaced in facsimile.) Late 19th century Russia backed boards (scuffed and rubbed, some leaves now loosely inserted). Provenance: signature and two inkstamps to title and inkstamp to rear free endpaper). - And three other 18th century Polish volumes (4).

London: printed for J. Pottinger, 1761-1762. Mixed editions, 2 vols., folio (337 x 229mm.) Frontispiece of Leonard Howard, title ruled in red and black, family and clerical annotation from 19th century on verso of introduction, numerous full-page copper-engraved plates. (Marginal tears, browning.) Contemporary calf (lower board detached from vol. 2, vol. 1 with covers holding with a leather repair across spine, preliminaries and first quire now disbound of vol. 1, last leaves of both volumes also loose.) - And one other volume ('The Works of Flavius Josephus', 1733, first translation by J.Court, folio) (3).

Engraved frontispiece of Shakespeare, decorative title, 44 steel engraved plates with tissue-guards. (Occasional spotting and finger-mark to the preliminaries.) Contemporary morocco with gilt and blind-stamped decorative covers, bevelled edges, gilt turn-ins, g.e.
