LOT 3131
A late 19th Century German automaton depicting a dolls' garden tea party, each doll with an Armand Marseille bisque head, impressed '390 10/0', with blonde wig, fixed blue eyes, painted eyebrows and lashes, open mouth showing upper teeth, and jointed composition body, each wearing original lace-edged dress, the musical movement making the central doll look from side to side at each doll drinking tea, all seated around an oval table with teapot, milk jug and two saucers, raised on a plinth base, the top with foliate decoration, the sides with wood grain decoration, height approx 40cm, width approx 49.5cm, depth approx 24cm.
