A .577 two-band Enfield percussion volunteer rifle, bar-on-band-type, by E. Brooks & Son, Birmingham, barrel length approx 84cm, with three-groove rifling, tangent rear sight and barleycorn front sight, signed border-engraved lock, struck with crown, full-stocked with steel furniture, retaining ramrod (threaded tip missing), nipple protector and sling swivels.
