A Martin Brothers stoneware mantel corner section, circa 1878, the cavetto frieze carved and pierced in high relief with a meandering vine issuing fruits on a bed of curled green leaves, cornered with a foliate rosette, picked out in blue, green, white and brown glazed tones, incised 'R.W. Martin 9c', '...Robinson....Arct' and dated '1878', length approx 63.5cm.
