LOT 1114
A George III and later oak longcase clock with thirty hour movement striking on a bell, the square brass dial with Roman numerals framing a matt centre with date aperture and applied oval boss inscribed 'Wm Swinburne Alstone', cornered with pierced foliate scroll spandrels, the hood with swan neck pediment and brass ball finial above a glazed door flanked with turned columns, the case with rectangular trunk door flanked by turned pilasters on a panelled base and outswept bracket feet, height approx 209cm, together with a weight (lacking pendulum, alterations and restoration).
