LOT 1662
A turquoise opaque glass oil lamp base, probably French, late 19th Century, the tapered cylindrical body decorated in green and white enamel to one side with a bird perched amidst blossom, to the reverse a butterfly hovering above bamboo, raised on a narrow stem and circular foot with stepped cut away detail, the glass reservoir with stylized foliate detail, fitted with a Hinks Duplex mechanism, together with a glass chimney.
