A 20th Century German-made U.S. naval officer's sword by Max Oberhard, with straight single-edged stainless blade, length approx 81cm, etched with foliate scrolls, eagle, fouled anchor, rope, stars, etc., and engraved 'George A. Vasiliauskas', brass hilt cast with 'U.S.N.', wire bound simulated sharkskin grip, in its brass-mounted leather-covered scabbard.
