BRUNEL, Isambard Kingdom (1806-1859). - Robert HOWLETT & George DOWNES (photographers). A stereoscopic photograph titled verso 'The Great Eastern... Portion of the Funnel and Jacket, showing the effects of the Explosion', published by The London Stereoscopic Company, circa 1859-1860, overall card size 86 x 174mm. (images with arched top 78 x 73mm.). - And three further stereoscopic cards, one titled 'The Great Eastern in Southampton Water', one of Captain Harrison and another of The Prince of Wales' Dog aboard the 'Hero'.
