A George III oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the brass break arch dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, beneath a boss to arch inscribed 'Edn Gatland, Cuckfield', the hood with moulded top above an arched glazed door, the arched trunk door above a stepped base and plinth, height approx 257cm, together with pendulum and two weights (faults).
