A Victorian 1822 pattern infantry officer's sword by Linney with curved single-edged blade, length approx 82.5cm, etched with VR cypher and foliate scrolls, brass hilt with folding guard and wire-bound fishskin-covered grip with dress knot (defective, blade rust stained, grip worn and lacking some fishskin, knot frayed), in its brass scabbard (defective).
