A commemorative pottery pewter lidded tankard or stein, early 19th Century, printed in black with a titled head and shoulders portrait of the Norwegian lawyer, civil servant and Member of Parliament 'Christian Krohg. Statsraad. M.M.', between the black edged foot and rim, the matched lid dated '1738' and with foliate thumbpiece, unmarked, height approx 15.5cm.
