RUSKIN, John. - Walter SCOTT. The Lady of the Lake, a Poem… the fifth edition. Edinburgh: 1810 [but decorative title dated 1811]. 8vo (210 x 123mm.) Engraved additional decorative title, 6 engraved plates. (Some spotting or browning, heavier to plates.) Contemporary red straight-grain morocco, the spine gilt in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second to fourth compartments, the other two with repeat decoration in gilt, g.e. (extremities and spine scuffed, spine rubbed). Provenance: John Ruskin (bookplate to front pastedown; signature to half-title).
