An Elsmore & Forster pottery puzzle jug, second half 19th Century, printed and coloured to each side with figures of Grimaldi the Clown, beneath the spout two Commedia dell'Arte figures framing the puce inscription 'S. M. Thomas Pyke 3rd Battalion Military Train', black printed factory mark to base, height approx 21.5cm.
