An early Victorian needlework sampler by Hannah Bannister, aged 13, 1841, with a panel of pious verse above a school or stately home, trees and animals, all contained within a strawberry border, worked with coloured threads in short stitches, approx 60.5cm x 63cm, within a rosewood and bird's eye maple frame of wide section.
