LOT 3186
BRUNEL, Isambard Kingdom (1806-1859). - Robert HOWLETT and George DOWNES (photographers). A group of fourteen stereoscopic photographs, each titled to pink labels verso, circa 1856-1857, each overall card size 85 x 176mm. All relating to 'The Leviathan' steamship. Note: the cards are numbered to the pink labels and comprise 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 14 (different image), 15, 16 and 17, which includes portraits of Brunel and Captain Harrison. - And two further stereoscopic photographs relating to the Great Eastern (16).
