BRUNEL, Isambard Kingdom (1806-1859). An album containing 40 mounted albumen-print photographs, circa 1860-1878. Folio (the photographs 110 x 87mm to 195 x 270mm). including 10 photographs of the Great Eastern (2 reproducing artwork and 2 of the ship coaling at Madeira in 1870, painted white for the cable laying trip to Bombay), 1 of cable ships and 15 photographs relating to the building of the Suez Canal. (Spine and upper cover detached).
