A Continental sable of German form with curved single edged blade, length approx 84cm, etched 'W. Savelkoul Semarang' and 'Yzerhouwer' within panels, brass stirrup hilt with lion's head pommel and wire bound brown composition grip, in its nickel plated steel scabbard, overpainted black (defective), together with a small Scandinavian hunting knife, in its nickel mounted leather sheath.
