An inscribed Spode blue printed India pattern soup plate, circa 1816, the reverse detailed 'This blueware is printed from Calx of British cobalt, produced from Wheal Sparnon Mine in the County of Cornwall August 1816', and with impressed factory marks, diameter approx 24cm (faults and repairs).
