A George III brass break arch dial and eight day movement striking on a bell, the dial with silvered chapter ring inscribed 'BeniN Andrew, ST Austle', framing a matt gilt centre with subsidiary seconds and date aperture, beneath a silvered boss to arch engraved with an eagle and banner inscribed 'Tempus Fugit', all cornered with cast and pierced gilt spandrels, dial width approx 30.5cm.
