An English porcelain nun pigeon tureen and cover, probably Derby, circa 1765, naturalistically modelled as a bird with purple and puce plumage seated on a nest with leaves applied to the rim, unmarked, length approx 20cm (base restored, cover broken in two and with minor restoration). Note: Sotheby's Ex lot 49, 17th September 1991.
