David Hockney - View of Malibu Beach from the Artist's Californian Apartment, facsimile transmitted print in twenty-four sections and related key, sent March 29 '96, each sheet approx 36.5cm x 21cm, all contained within a loose leaf album with a duplicate sheet. Note: this fax was sent from Hockney to Cavendish Primary School, Bradford, as a thank you to the pupils and headmistress for naming their school houses after Hockney and his works of art. As a child, Hockney lived in a house near to the school. These twenty-four prints when joined together would provide a picture for the school. This lot contains the original faxes. Provenance: entered by a descendant of the headmistress at the time.
