A hinged double frame, opening to reveal on one side a photograph of a Second World War U.S. officer wearing steel helmet, on the other a handwritten sheet with coloured ribbons used to show endearment, glazed, together with a pair of model 1944 U.S. goggles with spare lens, and a War Department Soldier's Handbook, dated July 23, 1941.
