Colour frontispiece to vol. I, numerous illustrations, occasionally colour. Original cloth, mylar wrappers (defective), contained within original slipcase (defective). Provenance: Percy Jayes F.R.C.S. (presentation inscription to vol. I incorporating the half-title signed by Harold Gillies 'To a leader in [The Principles and Art of Plastic Surgery] with the Authors Compliments H. Gillies' and associated a.l.s. from the daughter of Percy Jayes loosely inserted).
