BINDINGS. - Mandell CREIGHTON. Queen Elizabeth. London, Paris, etc.: 1896. Limited edition of 300 copies, this number 144 of 200 copies for Great Britain, 4to (318 x 240mm.) Colour frontispiece, numerous plates and illustrations (lacking extra suite of plates, some spotting or browning.) Contemporary red half-morocco, lettered in gilt to spine, t.e.g. (spine slightly faded, marbled paper spotted). Provenance: James Fitz Gerald Bannatyne (armorial bookplate). - And fourteen others, leather-bound, the majority relating to royalty (15).
