A Hamilton Watch Co. marine chronometer, circa 1941, the two day fusee movement with Earnshaw-type spring detent escapement, the silvered circular dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and state of wind dials and inscribed 'Hamilton, Lancaster, PA, U.S.A', numbered 'N1501' and dated '1941', within a three tier, brass bound mahogany box, bearing 'Ministry of Defence Hydrographic Dept' label, height approx 19cm.
