A 19th Century lacquered brass monocular microscope, signed 'J.B. Dancer, Optician, Manchester', with rack and pinion focusing, fine adjustment and plano-concave mirror, on a 'Y' shaped stand, height approx 36cm, within original mahogany case with applied 'J.B. Dancer' paper label and fitted with various accessories, including bull's-eye condenser, lenses and specimen slides.
