A japanned metal helmet case by Jones, Chalk & Dawson, 6 Sackville St, London, with applied brass plaque, engraved 'S.J. Sassoon 6th Inniskilling Dragoons', together with printouts of e-mails from a relative, stating that Sassoon Joseph Sassoon was first cousin to the Great War poet Siegfried Sassoon, and from the National Army Museum, stating brief details of S.J. Sassoon's service from 1907 to 1919, when he left the army with the rank of Captain.
