LOT 1172
A late 18th Century oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the brass break arch dial with 'strike/silent' indicator to the arch above a chapter ring with Roman numerals framing a matt centre with subsidiary seconds, date aperture and applied plaque inscribed 'Nathl Cliff, Hull', all cornered with cast and pierced scroll spandrels, the hood with pagoda top above carved decoration and columns, the trunk and base with carved foliate decoration, on bracket feet, height approx 213cm, together with pendulum and two weights (faults).
